OFFICE LIFE OR JUNGLE LIFE?

YES THIS IS BASIC

The following text is very intuitive and for
some might be even dumb but the reason
why it needs to be said is because the
amount of people who don’t act according to
it is amazing and they have made life as a
community difficult.

BEFORE YOU GET BORED THINK ABOUT HOW THE MESS WAS THAT IT WAS
NEEDED TO CREATE AN ARTICLE TO EDUCATE FUTURE GENERATIONS TO
NOT DO THE SAME

BE MINDFUL OF OTHERS

Sharing space with multiple people can be
difficult, especially if everyone is coming
from different backgrounds.
As a general rule don’t do to others what you
wouldn’t like for yourself. If you think that a
person blasting music next to you is
annoying, don’t do it yourself.
Respect to be respected. Lead by example.

KEEP IT CLEAN

Nobody likes to pick up after somebody else.
Just because there’s a cleaning crew in the office that doesn’t mean that they can disappear the mess of everyone magically.
Don’t create more work for others for things that can be done by passing a napkin on the table and throwing away the wrapping paper of your snack.

HAVING A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED SPACE HELPS THE BRAIN WORK
BETTER. IF YOU ENJOY A PRODUCTIVE DAY THEN PLEASE BE THE BEST
VERSION OF YOURSELF AND LEAVE IT BETTER THAN YOU FIND IT

KEEP IT TIDY

While cleaning and being organized is often
considered the same it isn’t.
Cleaning implies grabbing a tissue and
passing it on the table after leaving crumbs
on it. Tidyng on the other hand implies putting
things in their place after borrowing them.
If the room was organized when you arrived
then it should also be when you leave.

QUIET AND LOUD SPACES

There’s a time and space for anything.
We should be able to have a work meeting in the office without problems but for that we need a quiet space

QUIET DOESN’T MEAN THAT YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO TALK. QUIET MEANS
THAT YOUR TONE OF VOICE ISN’T INTERFERING WITH THE THOUGHT
PROCESS OF THE REST OF THE PEOPLE IN THE ROOM

If you want to have a more informal
environment because you want to talk
passionately about an unrelated topic then
please go to another space where your
conversation is not going to interrupt
somebody else work.

KITCHEN

Again, when sharing spaces is important to
keep it clean and tidy.
People who have been working there before
your arrival probably have a system in
motion. Ask them what is okay and what’s
not. Also remember to return the things that
you take by mistake

USUALLY, THESE PLACES HAVE SIGNS THAT TELL YOU IF SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE IN A SPECIFIC WAY. PLEASE READ THOSE SIGNS THAT WAY WE WON’T HAVE TO SUFFER THROUGH A CLOGGED TOILET FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK OR NOT BEING ABLE TO USE THE MICROWAVE BECAUSE IT BROKE

TOILET

There’s nothing more unpleasant than
having to use a dirty toilet.
These are actions that can help to keep it
tidy:

*Flush the water down
*Don’t throw too much paper into the toilet
*Open the window after number 2

Easy, right?

LASTLY

Talk with the people that are part of the office.
Share a coffee with them and have a good
working relationship based on the pretty
office that you both share.

REMEMBER MONDAYS ARE HARD. GOING BACK TO THE OFFICE IS TIRING.
LET’S TRY TO FIGHT THE CONS BY HAVING A GOOD SPACE TO BE IN

WITH LOVE

Your older LEINNers who are done with the
mess and still have to be in said “horrible”
office after you leave.
